Insure KC is an independent insurance agency located near Liberty, Missouri's Historic Downtown District. Although we are located in Liberty, MO, we serve all of the Kansas City Metropolitan area. Insure KC caters to the customer who wants an agent when they have questions or need guidance but also wants the convenience of doing business online after hours or on weekends. We understand that life can get hectic and that our customers don't always have time to stop by the office or pick up the phone to ask questions or take care of other business. We have strived to make our insurance website a customer service portal that can handle everything from making payment to adding or removing drivers from your policy. Traveler's Insurance - Travelers's is one of the best insurance companies around, they have 24 hour claims service and fantastic customer service. Although they do not have a large presence here in the Midwest, Traveler's is a longstanding, established company. They actually wrote the first automobile insurance policy in the world right here in America; that is actually where the Traveler's name originated. In my years of working with Traveler's I have observed that thier Homeowner's Insurance rates typically cannot be beat; especially when coupled with the Home & Auto multiline discount. Traveler's does require that homes be insured to 100% of their replacement cost value. Replacement cost is calculated using computer software. There are a few different programs for computing replacement cost and the value can vary greatly from one computer program to another. The Hartford - The Hartford was founded in 1810 in...you guessed it! Hartford, Ct. The Hartford is know for it's high quality insurance products that tend to offer coverages that go above and beyond most standard carriers. Their auto product offers uncommon features such as a vanishing deductible, first accident forgiveness and a no drop promise. The Hartford's homeowner's insurance rates are very competitive and I have seen them be much less than any other carrier if you are fortunate enough to be one of their "highly targeted" prospects. The Hartford also offers a very substantial Home & Auto discount.

Progressive - Progressive is primarily an automobile and recreational vehicle carrier. While they do offer some commercial and commercial auto products, we use them primarily to write stand -alone auto and motorcycle policies. Progressive's motorcycle and ATV rates usually can't be touched. Ask us about their snapshot discount to save up to an additinal 30% on their already low auto rates.

Barton Mutual Group - Barton Mutual Group was established in 1894 in Barton County, Missouri. BMG only offers Homeowner's and small commercial products (up to 1M). BMG only writes business in the state of Missouri and therefore has relatively limited risk exposure. For that reason, and because they have shown themselves to be a high quality company, we are comfortable offering their products to our customers despite their relatively small size when compared to other insurnace companies. Barton's rates are very good on older homes and they also do not hike up their prices due to previous customer claims or poor credit ratings. I have found that if someone has a past weather related claim or two, we can typically save them a substantial amount by going through Barton. Barton Mutual Group also offers very affordable insurance for mobile homes, vacant homes (this is unheard of!), rental properties and even vacant mobile homes. They have an appetite for small commercial and an Artisan Contractor's General Liability product that con't be beat. Also, if you have a home that has a high replacement cost but you do not want to insure for that much, this is the company for you, they do not require that properties be insured to replacement cost.
